	Version 8.1a will operate ~~fine with~~ a functioning v8.1 ~~build as~~ no changes were made to the √bbs.parms or √password ~~file~~. ~~Back up your system before performing these steps!~~		Version 8.1a will operate correctly on a functioning v8.1 system, since no changes were made to the <strong>√bbs.parms</strong> or <strong>√password</strong> files.

	~~The~~ following ~~actions will need to be performed:~~		<strong>Back up your system before performing any of the following steps.</strong>

	* Replacement of 8100 files with new 810a files. Ensure the original 8100 files (or 8000 files, if specified) are removed as BBS operations will still load older versions if they are present. All files are in the PROGRAMS designated area.		The following actions must be completed:
