Note: The documentation below comes from the original 8.0 manual. It's important to note that there is no formal testing on converting 7.37 to 8.10a, though I have proven converting an 8.0 to 8.1 (strict file replacement) and 8.1 to 8.10a.

It may be prudent then to: 1) follow the below instructions to get to 8.0 2) THEN follow 8.10a instructions for upgrade.

The included program called "mf convert" can be used to convert earlier version "√mod file" files to the Mod Menu 2.0 format. Just LOAD and RUN "mf convert" just like any other BASIC program and follow the directions on screen.

Before running the program, you should make sure that you have plenty of room on the drive where your "√mod file" is. You may want to read the instructions on Mod Menu 2.0 before doing the conversion, because you will need information on why you need to enter information such as the maximum module number.
